Hello! After spending many years in various industries (mainly in science), I finally decided to start my career in the veterinary field due to my sheer love for animals. In my opinion, they all are pure, special, and important! As a kid, I wanted to be a veterinarian, but things didn’t pan out as expected. I have been volunteering at BC SPCA since 2018, so I have a very soft spot for suffering, neglected, and abandoned animals – they always get extra kisses from me!

I do not have pets yet, but I dream of having a barn full of rescue animals one day. Apart from my passion for caring for animals, I care for the environment which I pursue by helping out with climate change and sustainability research at UBC. In the future, I would love to combine these both interests and work towards wildlife studies/conservation. In my free time, I try to catch up with many of my hobbies and enjoy outdoor sports.
